Like the Computachess III, the CXG Star Chess program was based on [[Kaare Danielsen|Kaare Danielsen's]] first program, [[LogiChess]]. In his 1996 [[ICGA Journal#19_4|ICCA Journal]] paper on [[CHE]], [[Chrilly Donninger]] mentions [[Kaare Danielsen]] as inventor of the [[Piece-Square Tables#Preprocessing|pre-processing]] [[Oracle#Donninger|Oracle]] approach for his program [[CXG Star Chess#Advanced|CXG Advanced Star Chess]] <ref>"[[Oracle#Donninger|This approach]] seems to have been invented by [[Kaare Danielsen]] for his program [[CXG Star Chess#Advanced|CXG Advanced Star Chess]]" from [[Chrilly Donninger]] (**1996**). //CHE: A Graphical Language for Expressing Chess Knowledge//.
