The inofficial  **European Microcomputer Chess Championship** was held 4 times, like its forerunner or superset, the [[PCW Microcomputer Chess Championship]] hosted by [[Personal Computer World]] (PCW) as part of their yearly exhibition. The 3rd PCW was simultaviously the 1st [[WMCCC 1980]] and 1st European MCC as well.
