**Explorer**,
a chess playing entity by [[Edward de Grijs]] which played the [[DOCCC 1991]] and the [[DOCCC 1993]]. In 1993, Edward de Grijs came up with a new chess special pupose hardware controlled by a [[x86|386SX]] [[IBM PC|PC]] <ref>[[Peter van Diepen]] (**1993**). //Report on the 13th Dutch Computer-Chess Championship//.
