**HansDamf** is a [[private engines|private chess program]] by [[Gerd Isenberg]]. While the name was initially intended for a new 64-bit chess engine still under development, it is actually a successor of 32-bit [[IsiChess]], using [[MMX]] and [[SSE2]] [[Fill Algorithms|flood-fills]] ala [[DirGolem]]. The name is derived from [[http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hansdampf_in_allen_Gassen|Hansdampf in allen Gassen]], the German resembling of [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_of_all_trades,_master_of_none|Jack of all trades, master of none]].
